BIG, HAIRY, AUDACIOUS GOALS
07/5/2019

There are times in life when we get in a rut and maybe feel a bit bored despite loving what we do.  I have had many clients over the past fifteen years for whom this is true.  Call it a midlife crisis if you will! (Hey, I’m so much cheaper than a sports car or a mistress!)

For me it happens about every seven years or so.  The last time this happened I brought together a group of extraordinary businesswomen and we put on a fashion show at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge for Teenage Cancer Trust. We raised £25,000 which set them off on their journey to open the TCT suite at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge.

Clearly, I'm very proud of that and it was very hard work, some of those women are still talking to me …

So now I have a new mission, a new side hustle, if you will.  I can’t let it take over my business for a year like last time, so I’d really like your help.

I want to save the NHS …

Nothing small then?

We are not talking about the million and one stresses and challenges the NHS,  just one …

“Nutrition:  Are we responsible for our own health and wellbeing?”

Yes, I know I’m not an expert in nutrition, but I believe that much illness and disease is the result of what we put in our mouths (or don’t!)  Clearly, this is a huge debate expanding out to food sustainability, global food production, the eco system and more.  However, in order to retain some level of sanity and control I would like to focus on the food we eat in the UK.

Through an organisation called Impact I am hosting a debate amongst Female STEAM and businesswomen to better understand on a micro and macro level and hopefully make something happen…
