Don’t be a Fool… Spring Forward!

Sometimes we are just getting on with life, nothing's wrong, just feel a little bit, meh!  "Life Changing" is a much over-used phrase and yet, it can be easy to lift yourself out of a dip, when you know how …

As a Co-Active Coach I work on Balance, Fulfilment and mindfulness. Balance starts with a Balance Wheel:  Relationship, Family and Friends, Money, Work/Business, Personal Growth, Health and Fitness, Fun and Recreation and your Home and Office.  Just improving one element of the balance wheel can have positivity rushing around the rest of your life like a rubber duck around the plug hole.

In March I've been working with Elizabeth Catchpole (www.echomeorganiser.co.uk) who has been helping me to declutter.  We tackled the utility room, garage and spare room. What started as overwhelming (and I thought I WAS organised "just need a few tweaks") turned into a form of liberation!

Leaving no stone unturned (or shelf, draw or cupboard) I now:
  • find things!!!!
  • have just 1 place for each type of thing – storage boxes labelled and in place
  • have loads more space
  • feel like my home belongs to me, rather than my children's storage
  • feel lighter and less burdened
  • keep on top of tidying
  • have more focus
  • greater sense of calm and peace because there is nothing jarringly out of place or in the way or unattractive (to me!)
And the results were instant because Elizabeth took away all the donations and the rubbish!

So, give yourself a lift and invest some time, energy and maybe money to give one element of your life a boost.  Why not try pole dancing?  Surprise your other half with a spontaneous adventure?  Read a romance instead of your normal sci-fi?

Just a small change can create a little excitement and give you a lift.

I'd love to know what you get up to!  Do let me know!

Enjoy!

If this struck a chord, a conversation with Jill is the natural next step. Bring the thing this article poked at.
